Woodhouse Community Primary School is situated in the historic town of Bishop Auckland in County Durham. We cater for pupils aged 2 to 11 years and have approximately 220 children attending our school.
Our aim is to provide children with a nurturing and supportive environment that allows all learners to thrive and to become responsible and independent members of their local community. We strive for all of our pupils to become life-long learners, to be aspirational in their achievements and to be the very best version of themselves that they can be.
We highly value the role that parents and carers play in their children’s learning and encourage them to participate in school life. We know that by working together in partnership, opportunities and life chances for children are greatly improved. We believe that together in partnership with families, we are helping the children ‘follow the pathway to success’.
Our School Brochure has a wealth of information you may find useful. By browsing Our Classes, you will be able to see the fabulous work done by our children and don’t forget to check the diary dates for the exciting events we have planned throughout the year!
